After a few days of recovery, the camp started out with quite a bang! Sunday afternoon consisted of registrations and introductions, but Monday was a 23 hour marathon. We had to get up a bit before 4am for a sunrise shoot. That was followed by a bunch of classroom activity and ended with a trip to shoot sunset and the milky way. We weren’t delivered back to our hotel until a bit before 3am the next day. Tues and Weds were slight variations on that pattern: we got up around 7:30am for breakfast at around 8 and finished the day with sunset / milky way shoots that again delivered us to our hotel at around 3 am the next morning. Overall, we’re managing better than it seems we should be, but it’s obviously really, really exhausting. The food here is really good and everyone has been really great. We’ve been able to get to know several of our favorite photographers and photopills folks a bit and get their help. Pictures from all of this will eventually follow, but at this point we’re just trying to survive 🙂
Whew!
