This was our first trip using the Global Entry pass. No scans of shoes, laptops or liquids. Very nice! I went through quite an exercise of offloading lenses to my coat pockets to reduce weight of my carry-ons in case they got weighed. Not necessary in the end, but trust me, those lenses were HEAVY.
